The 5094-IB32 and 5094-IB32XT digital 32-point sinking input modules detect input transitions on field devices. That is, the modules detect when an input changes state from OFF to ON or from ON to OFF. The input modules convert input state transition signals to the appropriate logic level used in the controller.
